The key ingredients missing from your fitness routine

Have you ever bought a new shiny piece of workout equipment or a gym membership and you’re excited at first!?

This thing is going to solve allll of your consistency roadblocks. This machine is going to be the thing that is finally going to work!

Things may be going along swimmingly for awhile, and then BAM! Life happens, you get bored, you get sore, the excitement wanes… All of a sudden the treadmill or bike becomes more of a decoration or clothes rack. The gym membership gets used a couple days here or there.

Maybe not… This isn’t always the case, but having been around the fitness world for awhile, I’ve seen it happen many times.

So what was the secret missing ingredient??

Accountabilty AND mindset

We are meant to be a part of community.

As humans we tend to like to show up for others more than for ourselves which is why accountability is key.

In our groups, we offer a lot of accountability. Daily Check-ins and a common space to all work on our goals together. It’s great.

However, the ULTIMATE form of accountability for me has been coaching with Bodi. Hands down.

Having others depending on me to lead the pack has caused me to be more consistent than ever before. It’s not about me anymore!

I have an obligation to show I can do it so others can borrow my belief and feel inspired to do the same.
